Structure of the Retina

A diagrammatic illustration created to show the structure of the eye with a focus on the cellular structure of the retina. A cross-sectioned view of the eye was used to show its main structural components and the retinal layer in relation to the sclera and choroid. An inset showing a cross-sectioned cube of the retina shows the different cell types and their relationships. Flat colors and a limited but varied color palette were used to distinguish between the different cell types of the retina.
Made in Photoshop and Illustrator.
